Three new jars. Two simple routines. One clear plan.

Just picked up the new Mary Kay K-Beauty Texture Edit? Still deciding? Either way, one question comes first:

Where does each jar go?

Here’s the good news. You keep the routine you already love. These three Korea-made products slot into steps you already do: cleansing, masking and moisturizing.

By the end of this page, you’ll have:

  • A step-by-step morning routine
  • A step-by-step night routine
  • The one rule for pairing K-Beauty with Retinol 0.3
  • A “half-turn trick” that stretches your cleansing balm further

Start With Four Jobs

Every good routine does four jobs. One product can handle each job.

JobWhat It DoesK-Beauty Pick
CleanseLifts makeup, sunscreen and oilMelt-In Cleansing Balm
TreatAdds a targeted boostSnail Gel Face Patches
MoisturizeHolds water in your skinCollagen Moisturizing Gel
ProtectShields skin from UV raysYour SPF 30+ sunscreen

Mornings focus on moisture and sun protection. Nights focus on a deeper cleanse and treatment. Your skin decides how many jobs it needs today.

Meet the Trio

ProductIts JobWhenHow Often
Melt-In Cleansing Balm (1.6 fl. oz.)Melts away makeup and sunscreenAM and PMDaily
Snail Gel Face Patches (60 patches)Cooling hydration and brightnessAfter cleansing2–3 times a week
Collagen Moisturizing Gel (1.6 fl. oz.)Bouncy moisture and a glassy glowAM and PMDaily

All three are special edition, available while supplies last. Early shoppers rate each one 4.9 out of 5 on marykay.com.

Melt-In Cleansing Balm. Skin feels soft and clean. The balm melts into an oil as you massage, then turns milky with a splash of water and rinses away. Inside: PDRN (purified salmon DNA fragments), rice bran oil and vitamin E.

Snail Gel Face Patches. Skin feels cool and looks hydrated and brighter. Each hydrogel patch is soaked in snail mucin, niacinamide, licorice extract and three forms of hyaluronic acid.

Collagen Moisturizing Gel. Skin looks plump and glassy. This pale pink jelly carries collagen peptides, niacinamide and squalane.

A straight answer about collagen: Collagen in a jar works at the surface. It holds moisture, so skin looks smoother and plumper right away. Retinol and daily sunscreen do the deeper work.

Mary Kay K-Beauty Texture Edit products and what each one does.

Your Morning Routine: 5 Steps

  1. Cleanse. Use your regular Mary Kay cleanser or the Melt-In Cleansing Balm. Here’s the half-turn trick: Mary Kay suggests a half turn on bare-skin days and a full turn on makeup or sunscreen days. Mornings are usually bare-skin days, so your jar lasts longer. Massage, add water, rinse.
  2. Eye cream (optional). Pat a small amount around your eyes.
  3. Serum (optional). Pick one serum for your top concern. Choose vitamin C for brightness or hyaluronic acid for extra moisture. Comfortable skin can go straight to step 4.
  4. Moisturize. Scoop Collagen Moisturizing Gel with the spatula. Dab it on your face and neck, then press it in with upward, outward strokes, keeping it clear of the eye area. Dry skin? Layer it with your usual Mary Kay moisturizer, going thinnest to thickest.
  5. Protect. Finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen, SPF 30 or higher. SPF 30 blocks about 97% of UVB rays. Reapply every two hours outdoors.

Your Night Routine: 6 Steps

  1. Melt. Twist a full turn of the Melt-In Cleansing Balm onto dry skin. Massage it over your face to lift makeup and sunscreen. Add a splash of water, then rinse.
  2. Wash. Follow with any Mary Kay cleanser. That’s your double cleanse. On bare-skin days, one cleanse is plenty.
  3. Patch (2–3 nights a week). Use the spatula to place Snail Gel Face Patches on clean skin, clear of eyes and lips. Relax for 20 minutes. Peel them off and pat the leftover essence into your skin, then reseal the jar. For a full-face moment, add Mary Kay Hydrogel Eye Patches under your eyes.
  4. Eye cream. Apply it now, before any treatment.
  5. Treat (optional). Apply your serum, or Retinol 0.3 on a retinol night.
  6. Moisturize. Finish with Collagen Moisturizing Gel, your usual moisturizer, or both.

Pair K-Beauty With What You Already Use

Mary Kay built the Texture Edit to sit beside your current regimen. Keep what works and add only where you want a boost.

Your LineKeepAdd From K-Beauty
TimeWiseYour full regimenBalm as your first cleanse at night; patches 2–3x a week; gel as a swap or a layer
TimeWise RepairYour Volu-Firm regimenBalm as your first cleanse; patches; gel as a light extra layer on dry days
Clinical SolutionsYour one main treatmentBalm, patches and gel around it

TimeWise morning: TimeWise 4-in-1 Cleanser → Eye Cream → Antioxidant Moisturizer and/or Collagen Moisturizing Gel → Daytime Defender SPF 30

TimeWise night: Melt-In Cleansing Balm → TimeWise 4-in-1 Cleanser → Patches (2–3x/week) → Nighttime Recovery → Eye Cream → Antioxidant Moisturizer and/or Collagen Moisturizing Gel

The retinol rule: Use one retinol product per night. TimeWise Repair Volu-Firm Night Treatment contains retinol. If you also own Retinol 0.3, use them on alternate nights.

Retinol 0.3 always goes on after eye cream and right before moisturizer. Collagen Moisturizing Gel works as that final moisturizer layer.

How Mary Kay K-Beauty fits with TimeWise, TimeWise Repair and Clinical Solutions.

Four Rules for Mixing Products

RuleWhat It MeansExample
ChooseOne product per job, when it already worksAntioxidant Moisturizer or Collagen Moisturizing Gel, when one keeps skin comfortable
LayerStack products with different jobsBalm + cleanser; serum + moisturizer
AlternateSplit strong actives across daysRetinol 0.3 and PHA + AHA Resurfacer on separate days
PauseCalm skin firstRed or stinging skin? Use a gentle cleanse and moisturizer until it settles

Mary Kay product mixing guide: choose, layer, alternate or pause or avoid.

Two more tips:

  • Adding Resurfacer? Use Retinol 0.3 nightly for several weeks first. Then add Resurfacer on non-retinol days.
  • New to snail mucin? If your skin reacts easily, patch-test on a small area first. If irritation lasts, see a dermatologist.

Quick FAQs

Can I use all three products together?

Yes. Mary Kay designed them to work in one routine: balm to cleanse, patches to boost, gel to moisturize.

Do these replace my TimeWise regimen?

They work as add-ons. Mary Kay built the collection to complement your current routine.

Can I use Collagen Moisturizing Gel after Retinol 0.3?

Yes. Retinol 0.3 goes on last before moisturizer, and the gel can be that moisturizer.

Is K-Beauty only for younger skin?

Gentle cleansing and steady hydration help skin at every age.

How long will the collection be around?

It’s a special edition, available while supplies last.

Your Skin, Your Routine, Starting Tonight

Here’s your plan in three lines:

  • Melt your day away with the balm.
  • Boost two or three nights a week with the patches.
  • Bounce into a glassy glow with the gel, morning and night.

Then finish every morning with sunscreen.

Sound doable? Three jars, two routines, and your current regimen stays put.
